๐Ÿ”‘ The 6 P's: A Key To Success In Any Endeavor ๐Ÿ”‘ In both personal and professional realms, success often hinges on one simple principle: Prior Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance. These 6 P's form a powerful mantra that can transform your approach to projects, goals, and everyday tasks.Prior: Before diving into any task, take a moment to reflect and gather your thoughts. Understanding the 'why' and 'what' of your objective sets a strong foundation.Proper: Ensure that your preparations are thorough and appropriate. This involves gathering all necessary resources, information, and support.Planning: Develop a clear, actionable plan. Break down your goal into manageable steps, set realistic timelines, and anticipate potential challenges.Prevents: By investing time in prior proper planning, you mitigate risks and avoid the pitfalls of hasty, uncoordinated efforts.Poor: Poor performance often stems from inadequate preparation and lack of foresight. Addressing these factors upfront paves the way for success.Performance: Ultimately, the quality of your performance reflects the effort and thought put into the initial stages. High performance is the result of meticulous planning and execution.By embracing the 6 P's, you can enhance productivity, achieve your goals more efficiently, and elevate your overall performance. Remember, success doesn't happen by chance, it's the product of deliberate and strategic planning.Three Points Insurance Design, LLCSeth Wasserman#Success #Planning #Productivity #Leadership #PersonalDevelopment #ProfessionalGrowth #6Ps

Hello All, lets try to find a Leap to Success by embracing the 6P Rule from "Eat That Frog!" last week, I took a leap into the world of productivity inspired by Brian Tracy's "Eat That Frog!" Armed with the 6P rule โ€“ "Prior Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance," I faced a formidable challenge head-on.๐Ÿ” Prioritize: I identified my biggest Frogโ€”the task I'd been avoiding. By acknowledging it as my priority, I laid the foundation for a transformative journey.๐Ÿ“… Proper Planning: Tracy's emphasis on planning resonated as I dissected the Frog into smaller, more manageable tasks. Each step became a strategic move on my path to success.๐Ÿšง Prevents: With a detailed plan in place, I erected barriers against procrastination. The preventative power of preparation became evident as I navigated through potential roadblocks.๐Ÿ“ˆ Poor Performance: Tracy's warning about poor performance fueled my determination. I refused to let lack of planning compromise the quality of my work.๐Ÿš€ Performance: Armed with a solid plan, I launched into action. Tracy's advice echoed in my mind: "Your ability to select your most important task at each moment, and then to get started on that task and to get it done both quickly and well, will probably have more of an impact on your success than any other quality or skill you can develop."As I completed each task, a sense of accomplishment and efficiency enveloped me. The Frog, once a source of dread, transformed into a stepping stone toward success. This experience taught me the power of the 6P rule. Proper planning became the catalyst for preventing poor performance, propelling me towards success. Let's all take a leap, prioritize wisely, and plan diligently as we strive for greatness in our professional journeys. "Trust in yourself and your abilities, and remember that the unknown is where growth and success often reside"๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿš€#Positivevibesonly #EatThatFrog #ProductivityChallenge #SuccessMindset

Because we as individuals only see (at least in the majority of cases) the outcomes of success, we tend to assume that the person who got there, who is successful had it easy. The reality is, there isn't such think as a straight up ladder to success. Everyone that got at the top of the ladder had been through the bumpy ride. _________________________________________________________________So what sets them apart from those that aren't successful: ๐Ÿ‘‰ ๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž Those people learned not to give up when they had their "downs" but rather, they built a habit of learning from the failures and growing out of them stronger. ๐Ÿ‘‰ ๐“๐ž๐ง๐š๐œ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ People who are successful are tenacious. They never give up on their goal despite the hard times, the ups and downs, they are determined and motivated to achieve whatever they set as target. ๐Ÿ‘‰ ๐‘๐ข๐ฌ๐ค ๐“๐š๐ค๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ I know many people who could've been way more successful than they are if they would've not settled in their comfort zones to avoid Risk. The truly successful people are risk takers. They assess the risk, create strategies to mitigate the risks that could be mitigated and prepare for the results of the risks that can't be avoided. ๐Ÿ‘‰ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐›๐ฅ๐ž๐ฆ ๐’๐จ๐ฅ๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐  We all know people that have a PROBLEM for EVERY SOLUTION. Well, they aren't the successful individuals, the successful people are problem solvers. They tend to get creative to find innovative solutions even for problems that seem unsolvable. ๐Ÿ‘‰ ๐€๐๐š๐ฉ๐ญ๐š๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐จ ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ง๐ ๐žAgility and adaptability are paramount in today's world. Things change so quickly around you, more often then not, the changes aren't in your control so if you aren't able to quickly capture the change and adapt your ways around it to get to where you want to be, you will lose. _________________________________________________________________So while we are tempted to jump on conclusions and say that someone had it easy, just know that most certain, they didn't and they had a bumpy ride to get where they are to. Some of the drops may have left bruises and wounds but one thing they never do is give up. Take a step back and think which of the above traits you master and where you can improve, that will be your first step towards success. #successmindset #leadershipmindset #successjourney #changemindset #adaptandthrive

Success isn't how far you got, but the distance you traveled from where you started." - Steve PrefontaineItโ€™s the end of October and the end of our look at the mantra of #KeepThePace. Itโ€™s been both cathartic and challenging to break this down, but ultimately I feel that as both a runner and as a salesperson, I needed the reminder of these best practices.Briefly, as a review, I spent the last four weeks discussing:1. **Discipline**: Both runners and business professionals need a high level of discipline. Runners must stick to their training schedules and consistently put in the effort to improve. Similarly, in business, discipline is crucial for meeting deadlines, setting goals, and maintaining a strong work ethic.2. **Goal Setting**: Setting clear, achievable goals is essential in both running and business. Runners often set targets for race times or distances, while business professionals set goals for revenue, growth, or project completion. Having well-defined goals provides motivation and direction.3. **Resilience**: Both runners and businesspeople encounter challenges and setbacks. Resilience is the ability to bounce back from these obstacles. Runners push through physical fatigue and injuries, while business professionals navigate market fluctuations and setbacks in projects. Resilience helps them persevere.4. **Time Management**: Effective time management is critical for runners and business individuals alike. Runners must allocate time for training, rest, and recovery. In business, managing time efficiently is essential for meeting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and balancing work and personal life.My hope is that as we run toward our Q4 goals and finish lines, you do so efficiently and with great success! #GrowthMindset #Strategy #PersonalDevelopment

๐Ÿš€ Striving for success is essential in any professional journey, but it's equally crucial to set realistic goals. In the pursuit of excellence, it's tempting to make ambitious promises, but let's remember that achieving targets requires a balance between ambition and feasibility.๐ŸŒ In today's fast-paced business environment, it's crucial to uphold transparency and integrity by avoiding the allure of making free promises. Promising more than we can deliver not only jeopardizes our credibility but can also lead to undue stress and setbacks.๐Ÿ’ก Instead of overcommitting, let's focus on setting SMART goalsโ€”Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. This approach not only keeps us grounded but also ensures that our efforts are directed towards tangible and attainable objectives.๐Ÿ”— Building a culture of reliability and trust within our professional networks is paramount. By consistently delivering on promises and surpassing realistic targets, we not only bolster our reputation but also foster stronger connections with clients, colleagues, and partners.๐ŸŒŸ Remember, success is a journey, not a sprint. Let's set ourselves up for triumph by establishing goals that challenge us without compromising our commitment to excellence. Together, let's cultivate a culture where achieving targets is not just a promise but a commitment we fulfill every time.#ProfessionalDevelopment #GoalSetting #SuccessMindset #AchieveTargets #BusinessEthics

Does the world's obsession with 'performance' impede human potential? 'One problem performance culture has created is metrics of measurement in life and work are now often set by others. Human potential is not unleashed by a performance review someone else conducts on you. When you think about people currently measuring performance in any area of your life, is their agenda where you wish to place the path of your life? Are they the best steward of your potential? ๐Ÿš€ "Success is a journey, not a destination." ๐Ÿš€These words hold a profound truth: the path you take matters more than the endpoint. Here's how to shift your focus to the journey, emphasizing the process over the outcome:๐Ÿ›ค๏ธ 1. Cultivate a Daily Checklist for Success: Start your journey by outlining the essential skills and behaviors that contribute to your big goals. Craft a daily checklist, pinpointing the top 3-5 tasks to execute consistently. Display it where you can't ignore itโ€”your roadmap to progress.๐Ÿ“ Daily Checklist for Success Strategy:Task 1: ___________________________Task 2: ___________________________Task 3: ___________________________๐ŸŽฏ 2. Direct Focus to the Controllable: Commit to what's within your control. Rather than fixating on the distant outcome, channel your energy into the actionable steps you can take today. Redirecting focus to the process empowers you with a sense of agency over your journey.๐Ÿ”„ 3. Master Consistent Execution: Success requires consistency, not just bursts of motivation. Cultivate the skill of executing your plan daily, even on days when motivation wanes. By staying committed to the process, you ensure progress and improvement each day.๐Ÿš€ The Triumph of Daily Improvement: When you commit to the process, you're on a journey of perpetual victory. Improvement becomes a daily win, and success isn't a distant trophyโ€”it's the ongoing evolution of your skills and mindset.#journey #performance #DailyImprovement

10 powerful lessons from the "The 1% Rule" by Grant Cardone1. Set 10X Goals: Don't just aim for your goals, aim 10 times higher. This forces you to think bigger and pushes you outside your comfort zone.2. Fall in Love with the Process: Success isn't just about the end result, it's about enjoying the journey. Learn to appreciate the effort and daily progress.3. Obsessed is Better Than Motivated: Motivation fades, obsession keeps you going. Develop an all-consuming drive to achieve your goals.4. Embrace Discomfort: Growth happens outside your comfort zone. Don't shy away from challenges, see them as opportunities to improve.5. Customer Satisfaction is the Wrong Goal: Obsess over exceeding customer expectations, not just meeting them.6. Don't Make Excuses: Take responsibility for your actions and results. Stop blaming external factors and focus on what you can control.7. Think "How Will It Be Done?" Don't just dream about your goals, figure out the concrete steps to achieve them. Have a plan in place8. Break the Middle-Class Mentality: Don't be afraid to take risks and break free from limiting beliefs.9. Build Your Name Recognition: Become known for your expertise and value.10. Criticism is a Sign of Success: If you're not getting noticed, you're probably not pushing hard enough. Learn from criticism and keep moving forward.๐Ÿ•Š๐Ÿ•Š๐Ÿ•Š๐Ÿ•Š๐Ÿ•Š

Awesome piece on the importance of effort and preparation. Reminds me of Sienfield's comment when asked about his success,"Regular practice is key to maintaining talent. Repetition strengthens the nerve pathways in the brain. When practice stops, the pathway begins to shrink. Good habits will keep them sharp."He would write jokes every day. Preparing, attention to detail and challenging himself daily was his road to success. Interesting to think of this in terms of financial advice. Do you judge yourself? Whom are you trying to excel against? This is the reason that the OKR approach to success is far better than KPI's. Best to have prepared and tried to reach your personal best than strived for a target that has no real meaning or motivation to you.#financialadvisers #financialadvisors #financialplanners #financialadvice # wealthmanagement # wealth
