Thursday, May 9, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Deacon takes Sheila to the hospital, Finn explains the Sugar story to Steffy, and Liam and Ridge are shocked by what Hope tells them.
Sheila agreed to marry Deacon as Finn raced home and told Steffy he had miraculous news.
In the cliff house, Steffy asks Finn what the incredible news is. She’s never seen him so excited.
He says she won’t believe it.
“It all begins with Sugar,” he says. She’s confused. He explains Sugar is a person.
Steffy is still confused so he gets her to sit down and explains that this is hard to believe but it’s real.
Sugar is a woman who looks exactly like Sheila. “What?” she asks, demanding more explanation.
He explains the whole Sugar and Sheila story that Lauren told Deacon.
They are identical in every way other than Sugar having ten toes.
The doctor explains how they tracked Sheila down and found her in an abandoned warehouse.
“We found Sheila,” he says.
His wife insists that Sheila died where they are sitting but he says it wasn’t her.
He knows this is a shock, but it’s the truth and his birth mother is alive.
At Deacon’s, he asks Sheila to rush off to Vegas with him and tie the knot.
Teasingly, she suggests she’s having second thoughts and he mimes falling to the couch with a dagger in his heart.
They giggle and he tells her he never wants to spend a moment away from her.
She teases him about getting a big engagement ring and then tells him he doesn’t owe her one. He saved her life.
After they kiss, she feels dizzy. He thinks they need to have her checked out at a hospital.
She’s reluctant but he’s not playing around and begs her to do it for his sake.
She tries assuring him she’s okay but he wants assurances she is well so they can come back and play a different version of doctor.
She can’t say “no” to that.

At the hospital, Deacon jokes around as the nurse sets Sheila up in bed for tests.
He has to leave to get his phone from the car.
The nurse chats with her about her engagement. Sheila tells her everything will be different this time.
Sheila can hear Li’s voice in the hallway and smiles to herself.
She asks the nurse if there’s any chance of Dr Finnegan seeing her.
The nurse goes down the hall and tells Li that a patient with dehydration made a special request to see her.
When she says her name is Sheila, Li stops dead.
Sheila listens and smiles as Li admits that name used to send a shiver down her spine.
When she announces she will see the patient, Sheila pulls the sheet up to cover her face and tries to control her giggles as Li starts asking her questions.
Li asks her to pull down the sheet so she can examine her. Sheila slowly reveals her toes.
Li lurches back in horror. “Your toe? What happened?” she asks, as she shudders and Sheila giggles more.
Li demands that she show her face.
At Forrester Creations, Hope tries to work but can’t stop thinking about Sheila being alive.
Liam and Ridge burst in, talking business before they notice her and realize something is off.
Liam assumes she had trouble talking her father out of the “Sheila is alive nonsense.”
“My dad is right,” she says. This outrages Ridge, who insists this is all made up.
Hope tells them that she saw Sheila and she is alive.
Ridge think this is insane. Hope has had a hard time with it too, but she saw Sheila in the flesh.
She was so shocked, she passed out.
Steffy took out Sheila’s look-alike, Sugar.
Sheila is alive whether they like it or not.
She can understand them being skeptical but she saw it for herself.
Ridge has to adjust to Sugar going up in flames rather than Sheila.
He and Liam have a harder time when she says that Sheila was a victim in all this.
Sugar was planning a crime spree for which Sheila would take the fall. Ridge thinks this is far-fetched.
Hope says that may be true, but they have to accept it.
