At the cliff house, Liam can’t blame Steffy for working from home today. She can’t go to work knowing that Sheila is out there. Liam takes her hand, “How are you?” She’s freaking out. Knowing Sheila is alive is one thing, but nothing prepared her for seeing her face-to-face. Liam learns she told Sheila to leave them alone. If she ever comes near Finn or her, she’ll answer to Steffy.
In Deacon’s place, he and Sheila kiss. She tells him people think he’s crazy for being with her. Deacon says they can have their opinions as long as he has her. She fears it will make him a pariah. She tells him Steffy paid her a visit today. She wanted to make sure she knew she had no place in her life, or her family. Sheila gushes that she finally has everything she ever wanted in life. Pure, unconditional love. Deacon growls, “I don’t know about pure.” Sheila replies, “I won’t let you down, Daddy.” As they make out, a knock comes at the door. Deacon warns it’s Hope. He wanted to tell her they’re engaged. After this, they can tell everyone, including Finn. Deacon lets Hope in and she muses, “It’s still like seeing a ghost.”
At Forrester, Brooke tells RJ what Zende did was unconscionable. RJ doesn’t think he’ll ever be able to work with Zende again, but he’s hoping he and Luna can move past this. He just hopes there’s no more reminders of what happened that night. Brooke wants them both to move on too. RJ tells her it doesn’t help to keep bringing it up. He believes Luna and knows she loves him, and only him. Brooke just hopes there’s not long-lasting effects for him and Luna. RJ’s going to make sure of it. She pulls out her phone.
In the design office, Luna asks Poppy, who is holding her pregnancy test, if she’s pregnant. Poppy tells her she’s not. Luna rushes to hug her mother, absolutely thrilled. She wasn’t ready for that. Just then, she gets a text from RJ inviting her to his house. Poppy urges her to go and put that night behind her forever. They embrace.
In the main office, Brooke ends a call with Katie and hollers at Poppy to come into the office and close the door. Poppy assumes she wants to talk about their kids. Brooke doesn’t think their kids are the problem. They’re mature, unlike Poppy and her mints. “How can you be so reckless?!” Her lack of judgment is wreaking havoc in their lives!
At the beach house, RJ surprises Luna with flowers. She’s surprised he wants her there. RJ doesn’t want things to be awkward or sad anymore. It wasn’t her fault. “This is on Zende and your mom, not you.” He doesn’t want her blaming herself. “A lot can change in one night, but it can’t change everything. We’re stronger than that.” They embrace. Luna tells him she feels so lucky right now. “I thought I ruined everything and that it would never be like this again.” RJ just wants to forget about that night. Luna feels like they finally can. She does know he told his mom about it. “She actually came to me.” She was concerned and maternal. Luna has to ask… is he sure she won’t talk to his father or grandfather about it. RJ says she promised. He wants to move on from this. Their mothers know and that’s it. “We’re going to move on from this together.”
At the cliff house, Liam and Steffy go over Finn having conflicting feelings. Liam snarks, “Feelings for the woman who shot you.” His loyalty should be to her. Steffy says it is, and Finn knows exactly where she stands when it comes to Sheila. Liam complains that Finn is doing it again… trying to convince her to accept Sheila. Steffy says that will never happen. She gave him an ultimatum and he chose her. Liam hopes he stays true to it.
At Deacon’s, he asks his daughter, “You aren’t going to faint, are you?” Hope assures him she’s not. It’s taken a bit but she’s started to realize this is real. Sheila decides to run errands and let them talk. She tells Hope if was lovely to see her again, pecks Deacon on the cheek, and exits. Deacon tells Hope something incredible has happened. She and the kids mean the world to him, but so does Sheila. He asked her to marry him. “We’re engaged.”
Hope sits down and stammers, “So, uh, you and Sheila are engaged.” Deacon thought he lost her and doesn’t want to be apart from her ever again. They’re going to be married soon. Life is short and you can’t wait for happiness. “You want that for me, don’t you?” The only thing that would make him happier than marrying Sheila is to have her at the wedding.

In the main office at Forrester, Poppy tells Brooke what happened that night was a terrible mistake. They go over Zende betraying Brooke’s son and not asking Luna why she was in his bed. That is unforgivable according to Brooke. He knew how in love they were and now Poppy’s poor daughter is walking around guilt-stricken and it wasn’t even her fault. Brooke rails, “How could you do this?! How could you be so careless?! Everything would be fine if it weren’t for you and your damn mints. You drugged your own daughter!”
Brooke keeps ranting until Poppy says she already feels terrible enough and doesn’t need her piling on. “For the record, I don’t take them anymore.” Brooke is glad, but that doesn’t fix the damage she’s done.
In the beach house, Luna tears up. RJ tells her when he looks at her, all he sees is love. She’s so in love with him, and is committed to him and only him. They kiss and embrace.

At the cliff house, Steffy appreciates Liam always looking out for her and the kids, but he doesn’t have to worry about Finn. Liam’s sorry it came to an ultimatum; she shouldn’t have to use that to get her husband to step up. Steffy’s confident she got through to him.

At Deacon’s place, he wants Hope to be a part of his wedding. “It would mean a lot to Sheila too.” Hope mocks, “Oh, that’s a good selling point.” Deacon says she wants Finn there too. “Soon she’ll be Mrs. Deacon Sharpe.” Hope thinks finding her alive should be enough. Deacon is hoping for more miracles. He’s hoping she and Finn won’t just attend, but be in the wedding. Hope could be the maid of honor and Finn could be his best man. Hope gawps… he can’t be serious. Not only is he serious, but Deacon’s hoping she will convince Finn to participate. It would mean so much to them to have their kids stand up for them at the alter.
At the cliff house, Steffy tells Liam that Finn heard her loud and clear. Sheila will never be part of his life.
