Heck I’m about the same way. I only like being around folks I chose to be around. My wife goes to the grocery store and I go to Napa for just about everything else I need

What used to be normal (my wife and I fall into this category) is now a just a minute slice of the pie of society. And it's only going to get worse.

Its annoying as hell. You cant go to a Publix or a Walmart without seeing some dude with a beard and lipstick wearing a dress and fake boobs popping through fishnets Then they look at you looking at them. Then you wonder if it see's you as prey or love toy. I hope they see me as angry enemy who is waiting for a good reason to express my feelings.

I been up since 3 o'clock like a kid on Christmas morning. Been drawing maps of fields to be planted in the swamps. If i need anything I am sending my wife to get it. It will be like a vacation from reality. I don't know if it is from getting old or just getting ornery. Anyway that's how i cope

There is nothing I enjoy more than getting as far away from the masses as possible and enjoying the peace and natural wonder with a few select friends. I cringe at the thought of going to any city now. The cultural rot hits you like a putrid fart.
