LOUIS?The Administrative Assistant for the Latino Outreach Initiative performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support the Latino Outreach team. Duties of Administrative Assistant also include providing support to newly arrived Latino Outreach Initiative clients with community orientation, resources, and services.

The first point of contact for walk-in Latino clients
Retrieve and return phone messages in a timely manner
Arrange appointments with the Institute's departments
Order and distribute food cards and transportation passes. Maintaining detailed records
Refer clients to medical providers for medical and dental needs
Organize and maintain Latino Outreach storage room
Ability to prioritize, effectively manage multiple projects concurrently, and take ownership of work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team as necessary.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of organization's information.
Ability to work productively in a multicultural environment and demonstrate respect for differences.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft 365.
Other
Bilingual in English and Spanish required
Must have a car and valid driver's license with proof of insurance
Education And Experience
Minimum of a High School Diploma
Two-three years of relevant experience
