Keto Berry Sauce FAQs

Is raspberry sauce keto?

Most raspberry sauces will not be keto because they will have added sugar.

This sugar-free berry sauce is made with a keto-friendly sweetener that doesn’t add any sugar or net carbs to the sauce.

Can you use frozen berries?

Yes, you can use frozen berries instead of fresh. If you have a lot to use up, make sugar-free sorbet, too!

Can you use different berries?

Sure! Feel free to make this with blackberries, blueberries, or chopped strawberries.

Can you make the sauce more smooth?

Yes, you can. For a thinner sauce that’s more like a sugar-free raspberry syrup, simply strain the seeds after making it.

Can you use a different sweetener?

Besti Powdered Monk Fruit Allulose Blend is best in this sauce, as it cooks just like sugar and dissolves completely. Keto simple syrup would work equally well.

You could also use powdered allulose or powdered erythritol (you’ll need 33% more than the stated amount). However, erythritol-based sweeteners are a worse option here, as it may crystallize upon cooling.

Great and tasty compote I made to top Panna Cotta. 1/3 cup sweetener was just right, and I added a little tangerine juice and zest.
