Lauryn Goodman and Kyle Walker were back in court today to discuss childcare arrangements and maintenance for their two children - and a body language expert says Lauryn came out on top
Lauryn Goodman has regained control from Kyle Walker amid their current court battle according to a body language expert, with the mum-of-two even winning a battle of symbolic jewellery pieces earlier today.
The mum-of-two was all smiles as she arrived outside court this morning in a pair of white trousers and a low-cut black top, with a pair of large dark shades completing her look ahead of thrashing out childcare issues and maintenance with Kyle.
It was a far cry from the scenes outside court yesterday that saw Lauryn adopt the stance of a pantomime cow as she tried to sneak inside the building with a coat covering her face as she tried to sneak inside the building without being pictured.
Kyle grabbed all the attention yesterday as he confidently strode inside with his gold wedding band firmly on his ring finger. The Manchester City footballer, who is said to be reuniting with his on-off wife Annie Kilner, made sure everyone could see his left hand as he got out the a Mercedes Benz.
But Lauryn made sure to trump her baby daddy's not-so subtle jewellery statement as she rocked up to court this morning. The Ex On The Beach star, who shares son Kairo Walker and daughter K.W with former flame Kyle, accessorised with a silver necklace around her neck with the letters K and W hanging off the chain - a nod to her two children.
"Day two of their courtroom appearances sees a complete swapping of body language moods as Kyle appears less assured and slightly anxious than he did on day one, while Lauryn is now fully visible to the cameras, walking in a more confident and upbeat way with what looks like a victorious smile on her face," body language expert Judi James says of the snaps of Kyle and Lauryn arriving to court today.

She goes on: "Kyle’s clothing touch gestures switch from peaco*cking to a self-comfort barrier as he places one hand to touch his jacket button. Lauryn even wins the battle of the jewellery here. Kyle might have been making a symbolic display of his wedding ring yesterday but today it is Lauryn suggesting some form of bonding and ownership by sporting a KW necklace round her neck."
Lauryn and Kyle's saga intensified when Lauryn first announced her second pregnancy, initially attributing it to another unnamed footballer, only for it to later come out that Kyle is indeed the father of both her children. The revelation about the paternity to Kyle's wife Annie is said to have been the catalyst for Annie deciding to call time on their marriage during the 2023 Christmas period.
Mum-of-four Annie then announced her split from Kyle in January this year. It was then revealed that Annie was expecting her fourth child, and she gave birth to a son in April. Despite the turmoil, Annie supported Kyle in Germany during the Euros as he played for England, which sparked rumours that she might be considering a reconciliation.
And it seems the rumours are true, with it claimed Annie is ready to give her childhood sweetheart one final chance - but with some strict rules and conditions. "Annie is in a good place right now. She was dreading the Euros, but she got caught up with the excitement of it all," an insider recently revealed to Heat magazine.
"Despite everything that has happened, she loves watching Kyle play and seeing her kids faces when they see him on the pitch. It also helped that the other WAGs have taken her under their wings, reminding her they have her back, and doings so much to make her feel happy and relaxed."
The source further claimed that Annie is "willing to give things with Kyle one final try" and hopes for a fresh start. The insider told the publication that Annie was angry at Kyle for "a long, long time and part of her will still never forgive him" but she also sees her estranged husband as an amazing dad and remembers how "great things can be".
However, despite Annie's recent decision to give their relationship another go, Kyle shouldn't get too comfortable just yet. According to the insider, Annie has laid down some ground rules and non-negotiables for her husband and has made it clear that if Kyle ever cheats again, "she'd never forgive him". But if the footballer can prove he's changed, Annie "feels it could be worth trying for" - for her own sake and for their children - but the ball is in Kyle's court to prove himself.
