I am so excited to share that my new album (my 7th release) is now mixed and is currently being mastered. The album is titled “Summer in Dewey” and consists of all original material. As a back story, growing up in Delaware my grandparents had a house right on the Atlantic in Dewey Beach. I spent Summers and weekends in Dewey and Rehoboth Beach and have the best memories from when I was a young child through adulthood. My family still visits regularly to this day and I’m watching my sons build memories similar to mine, which has been amazing to witness. As with everything, it takes a village to pull of a successful project and I could not have asked for a more supportive and talented team consisting of John B Hedges (co-producer/ keyboards) & Mike Strickland (co-producer/recording engineer/mixing engineer/bass). I am extremly grateful for both and their amazing contributions!! Also, Brandon Harris set the tone with his outstanding drumming! This is the album cover (photo by Laura Navarre Photography). I promise to keep you posted on all of the upcoming release info! Thank you all so much for your support and I can’t wait for you all to hear this!!

Dancing About Architecture is home to many of our more ambitious blends, crafting esoteric genres not normally found in production music catalogs. In this collection of standout stylings, we’ve included broad “Corporate Keywords” born out of whiteboard brainstorm sessions (e.g. "Fun" or "Modern") that you might see in a creative brief, along with our own succinct summary of each record.https://buff.ly/4caMwuL

What is your One LP?This isn’t the easiest question for people that love music. Especially those who love different styles of music. Our musical taste defines us. Common grounds connects the people. Artists, Bands, Albums, Songs. This project is a great example how music makes the people. The favorite album is a statement about who we are. Even great artists themselves has a favorite album of a favorite artist. Those who have fans are fans too. William has asked many, travelled the world, dived into different clusters. In most of the images a duo is captured. The relation of the selected and the selector. A kind of collaboration, sometimes an alter ego, sometimes a major influence, sometimes a guide to life. What is your One LP?

Casting the band for your track! My next video on the journey of making the album is up, with a sneak preview of another track at the end.. In this one we have a look at the next stage of the process - assembling your fragments and deciding what 'band' to use for each track. Instrument selection, live and sampled, and how to think about the character of the sound you are using. https://lnkd.in/eRVMQWyr

Is this the best brief in history? It’s a letter from Mick Jagger to Andy Warhol, commissioning the album artwork forSticky Fingers.*For me, it’s one of the best.👌 Here’s why.1. It shows the artist that the client is on their side2. It offers the artist a mandate3. It’s shortIn advertising we talk about the freedom of a tight brief. When constraints are understood – creatives are free to roam within them.Good work starts with a (brief) brief. What’s the best one you’ve ever been given?*Yes, I’m talking about The Rolling Stones again. But It’s All Over Now.#brief #creativity #businessofcreativity
